GRE FAQs

The GRE test is suggested for prospective graduate and business school applicants who want to pursue a master’s degree in business or law.

The GRE Test measures your verbal and quantitative reasoning, critical thinking, and analytical writing skills. The question types reflect the kind of thinking and skills students will require in their graduate school programs.

The overall test time of the GRE test is about 1 hour and 58 minutes, where there are six sections with a 10-minute break following the third section.

You can choose to send your best scores either on the test day or after the test day. After viewing your scores at the test center on the test day, you can choose to send your scores for free or you can even choose to not send your score at this time. However, if you choose to send your scores after the test day, you will be required to pay a fee. Your test fee entitles you to request scores to be sent up to four graduate institutions and you will be required to pay a fee of $27 per recipient if you decide to send scores after the test day.

At the end of the test, you will be asked if you want to Report (view) or Cancel your scores. You will be able to view your unofficial Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning scores if you select Report. You will not be able to view your Analytical Writing score at that time as the essay scoring will still be in process. Or, you can simply select to Cancel your scores if you are not confident about your scores.

You can simply register for the test or view your scores by creating an ETS account. We are more than happy to help you register and book your test dates. You can easily view the test centers, dates, seat availability easily with us or by logging in to your ETS account.
